The virtual lab is available as stand alone educational software for free, you can download it from here. This package will install the educatioan software as any normal exe program, you dont need LabVIEW to run it. The virtual lab offers a very useful tool for getting qualitative understanding of PID control tuning. You may consult the second week experiment in the lab manual. Figure 1 shows the virtual software GUI. The virtual lab can be downloaded from the following link also:

The optional Help Wizard with the "Speaking Genie" help system based on MS Agent technology can be downloaded here.

For proper access of the remote laboratory you need to download and install:

1. The LabVIEW run-time engine from here or from the NI website here

2. The IMAQ Vision run-time engine for displaying the video window of the remote rig from here
